Vice Chancellor's Message
Guru Nanak Dev University has come to be recognized as a harbinger of quality education and research in the region and has sprung to eminence nationally on account of its uncompromising quality and enviable feats. With the intent to continue its pursuit for excellence in academics and in research as well, we have conceived the idea of this Center for Data Analytics and Research. To take research from margins to mainstream in the region and country by equipping the researchers with latest knowledge about data and methods, the CDAR is an initiative to nurture the research potential. Research has become a means of survival today not just in academic circles but in every discipline and to create and provide a congenial and enabling environment for research we have come up with this center. Center will provide training to the interested and enthusiastic researchers and guidance in all research related issues to promote quality research in the country. This initiative in intended to provide assistance to all who have not been able to find answers to their queries and have the mettle to dive in the tumultuous waters of research which are invaded by aggressive forces of technology driven change. I wish all researchers the very best and hope this center helps them take the flight to success with better preparation.
